The Online Editor is primarily responsible for implementing and maintaining the digital brand’s overall look, voice and content. S/he ensures the quality and timely completion of every issue through the efficient management of the brand’s staff, budget and deadlines. S/he is also responsible for the digital brand’s public image and network.
S/he is in charge of creating Digital Media editorial boards and overseeing a team composed of a Content Writer and Multimedia Artist. S/he may coordinate with the Digital team regarding revenue-generating editorial campaigns. The Online Editor curates what gets published on the website and how it will be perceived by the digital readers, editorial and content pieces and features. This role also requires to develop the brand’s budgets and manage all the day-to-day operations. The Online Editor serves as the brand’s representative at social functions.
